Presentations

This semester you will be required to do two presentations, one technical and one theoretical.

Theoretical Presentation:
For this 20 minute/20-40 slide presentation you can either present with one other classmate or alone. You have a few options on subject matter, choose one:

*One photographer's life and work. (Check on the "Photographers & Artists" link list I've created on this blog for some ideas.)
*Two photographers, compare & contrast. They should be bound by at least one common element with two different approaches.
*A trend or theory in photography, show work by several artists for support.

Presentations will begin on 02/21 and run through the month of March, I will assign you a date.

Technical Presentation:
Technology changes way too fast for us not to rely on some sort of community with which to share information. You (alone) will share information with your classmates for at least 10 minutes on something you believe might be of interest to the class. I've created a list of topics for you to choose from or if you have an idea not listed here please let me know. These presentations will run almost every class date for the reminder of the semester, I will assign you a date once I have your topic.

Some ideas:
*Creating your own preset in Lightroom
*Creating actions in Photoshop
*Upsizing with an interpolation software like Photo Resize (aka Genuine Fractals)
*HDR
*Photomerge
*Creating a Collection in Lightroom
*Creating a Contact Sheet to Print in Bridge & Lightroom
*Creating your own metadata in Lightroom & Bridge
*Batch Function in Bridge
