Photography Book Now Competition, New Student Category

Photography Book Now 2011, our celebration of the most innovative photography books and the people behind them, is here, and the call for entries is on!

Now is the time to break out your creative genius. Make and enter a photography book, or enter one you've already made. This year, we have four categories: Fine Art, Documentary, Travel, and—for the first time ever—a Student category.

And here's another first: In addition to a $25,000 grand prize, we'll be awarding $5,000 to each category winner.

Last year we had more 2,100 submissions from Blurbarians worldwide and this year, we're hoping for even more. Lead judge Darius Himes will be joining us again along with a panel of renowned editors, publishers, and photographers. Stay tuned—we'll announce our panel of jurors soon.

In the meantime, check out our new PBN site, enter your book, and watch this video to get Darius Himes's insights on PBN's judging criteria.

Happy (photography) bookmaking,

The Blurberati
